Yep. That was a huge play. It was 4th and 10.
In 2009 the Bengals converted six of eight 4th downs in the 4th quarter and overtime. Palmer accounted for 5 of the 6. He was 3-3 passing and scrambled for 2 more. All 5 of them were in the final 2 minutes of the game, and one of them was a game-tying TD to Chad against the Browns.
The 2 times we failed to convert on a 4th down in 4th quarter that year were just clock killing runs in big wins. (14 seconds left in 10 point win over Ravens, and another in the 45-10 thrashing of the Bears)
