The guy drives me crazy, too, but not using him is dumber than not running the ball (and that is fricking stupid as hell).
Actually, he did play year 1, he just didn't catch anything in games. He did manage to somehow fumble it with no catches though.
All joking and fun aside, and I am just pulling your chain, I just don't see Ross as the savior for the Bengals. People kept saying Marvin didn't know how to use him and he'll flourish under Taylor. Yet Marvin got more meaningful production out of Ross.
For me, a more realistic solution in the near term is to challenge the manhood of the OL and get them to open some holes for Mixon. If successful, this shortens the game, helps the defense and will create some breathing room for Burrow. It might also open up something for Ross.
