Davis has always got a lot of love for his ball handling skills, but he does not need to be a perimeter player. He doesn't need to be jacking up a bunch of threes an trying to be Kevin Durant. Instead he needs to use his handles and footwork in the post.I've never been impressed with Gentry as a head coach.
Through his first three NBA seasons Davis averaged 0.1 3P attempts and 1.5 turnovers per game. The "new" Davis is averaging 3.5 3P attempts and 3.5 turnovers per game for the 0-2 Pelicans.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
