Raw speed is not as important in what makes a WR great as other things like hands, quickiness and instincts. Scheme also is a factor - KCs offensive scheme helps their receivers get separation - watch the routes they run and the formations they run them out of. And their recievers are both fast AND have reasonably good hands and run their routes correctly.
