Bates is signed for next year and right now we have $42 million in cap space. We could also pick up $9 million more if they do something with Geno.
We are in a very good spot with the cap as we really only need to get contracts done for Jackson and Lawson for next year. Assume that costs $25 million (ill go high for arguments sake) and you still have $17 million in space - which would allow for 1 decent sized free agent signing.
