ZT hasn't even been the coach here for 5 years yet? what exactly are you talking about "it's been 5 years already"?
Last year was the first real year of our rebuild, the 3 years prior to ZT's arrival were supposed to be re-tool years under Marvin, but they were crap drafts, it takes a few years to get back to a good place talent wise after busting on that many top drafted players, even with all of the FA acquisitions we made last year. Bengals are on the right track, you just need to have patience and show some self-discipline.
Another big piece of the puzzle might be drafted next year in Sewell, and that's something to keep building and improving on. Blaming Jordan is silly, every OL out there has a weak link and you just have to deal with that link until you can replace it or it improves.
4 days? I'm not crying about it, even on the day it happened. Injuries happen in the NFL! Does it suck? yes it does, but life goes on. Maybe you need to keep things in perspective and not take what happens on Sundays so seriously. Or maybe find a team where the FO doesn't get complaints from the fans about how poorly they do their jobs? Good Luck on that one.
Ya but
This team hasn't been anything even approaching good since mid 2015. Mike Brown should have been rebuilding after that debacle of a season but he's Mike Brown so we had to suffer through 3 more years of mediocre Marv, the elephant still charging with a bullet in it's brain.
Now we're (seemingly) going to have to suffer through another who knows how many years of a HC that just doesn't have what it takes and a coaching staff that probably even worse than the HC.
I don't think many thought we were going to tear up the NFL this season and win the Super Bowl. We knew it would take time. But we're not seeing anything moving forward, in fact it's getting worse.
ZT is very likely to end this season as the worst 2 seasons by a starting HC in NFL history. 4 maybe by some freak 5 wins. Another 2 seasons lost.
