I don't know if Allen was skittish or if he just didn't have any confidence, but something wasn't clicking between the ears and if Burrow was in the same situation, the ball would've been out so much earlier, so much more often.

Listening to Bengals line tonight, one of the players was talking about how well he was doing in practice last week and Lap wondered why it didn't translate. 

I can tell you why. Practice and games are completely different. He can be a bit more relaxed and not worry about mistakes as much in practice. When game time starts, some guys spinchters tighten up a bit too much and they're scared to just let it go. Hence holding the ball too long and not throwing to guys that are wide open.
