This thread shows just how desperate some (a very select few) are to defend a coach with this resume. There's not a single thing they can point to, outside of ridiculous hypotheticals, that presents a reason to keep him.
Imagine a rookie QB, who is locked up for 4 more years, trying to force his way out of town because the franchise fired a coach with a 4-27-1 record. This is a coach who he has played all of 9 games under, and had had a working relationship for a total of about 6 months.
He loves this guy so much that he won't even entertain the thought of playing for someone else. Seriously?
Do some of you really believe Joe Burrow is this stupid?
