Perhaps Wyche clashed with Mike through the years and Mike didn't want to have that kind of pushback.
If I'm convinced of any one thing it is that Mike Brown was completely incapable of learning anything from his father. Paul drove innovation in the NFL, Mike has resisted all change. You just cannot get more opposite than that.
