I don’t think this is true. It’s possible a few coaches that’ve been in demand have passed but there’s only 32 of these jobs and several qualified -even if they’ve been proven unsuccessful -candidates ready to prove they have what it takes. Often times candidates are over looked for years- so when the opportunity presents itself- you pounce. That’s what success people do. We just suck at recognizing moxie or we down right despite it. One of the two.
