Geno not finishing the year gives ZT the out he needs to excuse the Dunlap situation

But now the same cannot happen with Geno. How funny would it have been if ZT ended up giving Geno more snaps and he ends up with a couple sacks. ZT would not have a leg to stand on at negotiation time. Now ZT can say Dunlap was a fluke and that he was right with Geno.

I don’t see a world in which ZT isn’t given another year

It's already been rumored that the Bengals and Atkins are expected to part ways this offseason.
But it's not Taylor's fault that the DL isn't producing. It's the DC.

At minimum, the Bengals need to force Taylor to find a new DC and OL coach.
They have no way of selling next season to fans unless they change those two guys.
If all the coaches stay the same, there's no hope for this team.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
