I have also watched tons of football games and my standard for a bad pass is an interception.  Burrow threw 5 interceptions this year.  Does that mean he is a "bum"?  How would I be able to decide if there was not some standard to compare him to?

If you can't tell me how Erickson compares to other players then your opinion is meaningless.
