He is saying they have 1 proven edge defender under contract in 2021 (Sam Hubbard). Which is true. The Bengals need to improve the offense line but ignoring the defensive line is just as bad. They need an edge rusher or possibly 2 if they dont resign Carl Lawson.
The Bengals need to attack the lines on both sides of the ball because the trenches win football games.
