Evan Mathis?!? The Bengals were his third NFL team and signed the ‘youngster’ at age 27. It wasn’t until his age 30 season (under legendary O-Line guru Howard Mudd) that he achieved success as a starter. He wasn’t named to his first pro bowl until he was 32. Not a useful comparison to Jordan.
