It makes sense to try to maintain the appearance of a level playing field by not disclosing the injury. I don’t know if they get fined or not, but I don’t think it was poor sportsmanship in any fashion to not disclose the injury. Deflating the footballs was kinda poor sportsmanship—but at the same time—both teams were playing with the slightly deflated balls.
