First two days: Your hope, and your prediction

Here is what I hope the first two days of the draft look like for the Bengals:

Pick #1, slides to #14 in trade for the Eagles, who take Dalvin Cook. Bengals receive their 2nd round selection. Bengals select, WR, John Ross, Washington.

Pick #2, Bengals trade AJM to Browns, and select OT/G Forrest Lamp, Western Kentucky

Pick #3, at their original spot, the Bengals select DE, Jordan Willis, Kansas State

Pick #4, acquired from the Eagles, at their spot in the 2nd round, Bengals select, CB, Kevin King, Washington

Now, that is a lot of "pie in the sky", but it is my hope so I get to do what I want.

Here is what I think the Bengals will do:

Pick 1: DE, Derek Barnett, Tennessee
Pick 2: WR, Curtis Samuel, Ohio State
Pick 3: RB, Samaje Perine, Oklahoma

Pretty creative on your part.

My dream would be what I put in my mock:

1. Allen falls to us, and we take him. I'd be ok with R. Foster as well.
2. Tarell Basham would be great here. Or Jordan Willis wouldn't be nice, too.
3. Pat Elflein - We need to upgrade our Oline...period. If not here, then take Joe Mixon.

I know that was 6. I like options. What can I say?

1 Barnett is the safe choice, Taco at 9 would just piss me off.
2 Mixon, RB
3 Carlos Henderson, WR

My hope? Ok, dream.
Someone, not Cleveland or Arizona, trades up to 6 with the jets to take Watson. Arizona calls us for 9. Cleveland senses it, panics, gives us 12 and 33 for trubisky giving them their top two.

The jets give us a 2nd this this year and a conditional 3rd for ajm.

Pick 12 becomes Corey Davis.
33 Is David njoku
The jets 2nd is tj watt
Our 2nd is Mixon
Our third is Isaac asiata or efflein

Unlikely? Yes. But not out of the realm of possibility

3. Pat elflien/tanoh kpassagnon. Get the feeling elfline wont be here in which case i would take elflien at 2 instead of mixon and get foreman in 3.
