Philly's bookends were amazing last year.

I went with 3-5, as Pittsburgh's OL was quietly awesome.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Beachum was superb. Continues to defy his less than preferrable measurables.

I got Whit as a Top 2 LT and I got Andre as a Top 2 RT. So I'll put them Top 2 as a duo.

Have them as #2. It's hard to argue two guys on the same team that are better than Whit and Smith. Sure, Smith had a down season last year, but the guy finally lived up to his 1st round talent and was certainly an extremely good player.

I'd love to hear the rationalization for somebody that puts certain other players up much higher than the average vote yet gives our tackles anything lower than a top 5 ranking.

Starters I would've knocked it down a bit for Andre, but as a group, I don't see how you can't go with 1-2. White was great every game, Andre was good when he was in and whenever he went out, it wasn't a liability as someone stepped up.

One thing I found surprising while compiling the list is that Marshall Newhouse is penciled in as a starter and Anthony Collins is on the street.

Yes but they still weren't as good as ours. And ours have been consistently good for the last 3+ years.
Pittsburgh's went from turnstiles to good in a season. That sort of transformation doesn't always last...

If I knew how Smith will play after losing weight, and after his torn left triceps I might rank them higher. There is just too much uncertainty for me to rank them in the top 5 with that big of a question mark.

Probably could have gone 1-2, but I'm not 100% sold on A. Smith. I also think T. Smith and D. Free were a very good tandem.

I voted for 3-5 & they may possibly be better than that. Just have to stay healthy.

I voted 1-2.
The only two teams I could think of were New England and Dallas.
New England MAY be better than us. They have two great tackles in Sebastian Vollmer and Nate Solder.
And Dallas has some reliable guys in Doug Free and Tyron Smith.
You could make an argument for Philly or Washington as well, though WSH is sporting a rookie, so I doubt they crack the top 2.
But our OTs are both excellent.
Worst case scenario, I'd put us 3rd. But I think they may be #1 or #2.
Although, Andre is always a risk for injury, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I put it at 1-2, our starters are right there at the top based in talent and production over their careers. Throw in we have spent Our first two picks this year on depth for the position, one could argue our OT position groups is clearly the best in the league, if this poll is just in regards to the starters, then anywhere from 1-5 can be justified.

Everyone knows my stance on the subject.
Whitworth is simply the best LT in the game, 'dre is a top 5 RT.
Philadelphia is the ONLY team close to us in terms of tackles, the ONLY team.
Plus we have Winston, who until his year in Arizona, was also a top 5 RT and played VERY well for us in limited time.
We good.

I missed this thread so no vote for me as it is closed.
I think they are in the 3 to 5 range trending closer to 3.
We have 2 excellent tackles.
2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.
