Bengals 50th Anniversary top 50
#1
Most around here know that your boy bfine is always looking for ways to make the boards more entertaining and user friendly (given, it's not always appreciated), but we will look to name the top 50 players in Bengal history for the 50th Anniversary and help us fill the void until TC.

Here's how we will do it:

We'll do it 5 players at a time (helps identify individual standings).

In this introductory thread list your top 5 players in Bengal history (They must have a minimum 5 years of service in stripes). For instance folks like Greg Cook, Charlie Joiner, and Coy Bacon are not eligible, but stalwarts such as Jon Kitna. Reggie Kelly, and John Thornton are.

Once we go for a couple days, I'll list the top 5, then ask for the next 5 until we hit 50.

Maximum participation is required. Please refrain from disrespecting someone else's selections. Simply expound on why yours are "better"

If anyone has any suggestions  post them in this thread and we'll iron it out.

My top 5:

Anthony Munoz- Hands down best Bengal ever

Ken Riley- You can count on 1 hand the players that have more INTs in the history of the game

Chad Johnson- Owns more Bengal records than any Bengal player

James Brooks - 2nd most rushing yards in Bengal history. 15th most receiving yards

Jim Breech- All-time Bengak scoring leader

Anthony Munoz
Best offensive lineman of all time. Arguably a top 10 player of all time.

Ken Anderson
One of the best QBs of his time and has had records stand until recently.

Ken Riley
5th all time in Interceptions.

Chad Johnson
One of the best wide receivers of his time. Great athlete and arguably the best route runner that we've ever seen.

Corey Dillon
Top 20 all time leading rusher and 17th all time in rushing TDs

Kenny Anderson
Anthony Munoz
Andy Dalton
AJ Green

Now, I should punch myself (Mixon thread hangover?) for not having MY all-time fav, James Brooks.
