No deal, plus I can't even figure out how to update the pic....my son in the middle is now as tall as me!
How about a bottle of your favorite? Put the price ceiling at $30?

They do when you're still in the playoff hunt (technically we are still) and the other team is 0-10...

No potential HC would take the job if they were denied the opportunity to assemble their own staff. None. Any head coach that would accept the job under those terms is not a coach we would want.

Its probably best at this point to let Marvin finish the season and he can retire or he can walk. There will be more options during the off-season (season is basically lost anyway, no one on this staff is going to get us anywhere). It will be up to Mike Brown whether or not we keep the rest of our staff, not Marvin or the new HC unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong.
I didn't mean now but fired after the season is over.

He's under contract, won't really matter, but I see what you're saying.

This thread is the perfect example of what happens after a win against a horrible team. Next week against the Browns and win back to back games? We'll see posts about Super Bowl bound Bengals...

I don't know where you're seeing anyone claiming the Bengals are going to the playoffs? Its not so much my prediction that we make the playoffs as it is "The Bengals can still make the playoffs". I don't think, nor do I believe they deserve to make the playoffs, but it is possible given this years AFC teams aren't doing that great. You're not going to hear superbowl talk from this guy till (one day) we're back in the AFC Championship game. We suck, but we're still in it. Is what it is lol

His contract is up after the season is over. You want Brown to give him a contract just so he can fire him? I, too, want Merv gone, but I don't care how and I don't care when as long as it's before the Super Bowl (this year's Super Bowl).

I get it. I'd just like to see "Clapping Clarice" and "Alexander The Great" shown the door and being humiliated at the same time...

I'm not sure what in the history of Mike Brown's tenure, leads anyone to believe fan opinion will drive his decision making. I think Marvin is probably ready to hang it up, and if that's the case, you will probably wind up with Fat Paulie as the next HC of the Cincinnati Bengals. UNLESS Vance Joseph or Hugh is unemployed, and then I'd give one of them the edge over Fat Paulie.
This post brought to you by the Cincinnati Bengals. Proud leaders in squandering opportunity, since 1969.

This is my biggest hope as my biggest fear is if we win enough games to get into the Playoffs, he would stick around.
Same with PA, but i think i see the same thing you see Brownshoe and Marv and PA are gone regardless, thank God.
With the way the AFC is playing right now i think we could get into the Playoffs even with this shitty O-line.
The coaching is just so terrible, schematically as SHRacer said and it leads to lack of effort because it is so passive.
But i mean that is how bad the AFC is right now and our team is still talented. We just will never win a Playoff game under Marv
and that is fine with me so we can finally move on. It is beyond time to move on from Marv and PA if we ever want to make a
run. This O-line gets fixed next Offseason and our team will be much better off to finally get that big ass monkey off our back.

I agree, said it before, firing Marv in season would be a bad move. Would be all for firing PA in season though.
The best thing his franchise could do is fire PA right now, hire McNally for the rest of the season and pick a new HC that can
be allowed to pick him a whole new staff after the season. Nagy, Lafleur, Peterson etc are my top picks right now for Head
Coaching candidates. Offensive minded coaches.

I'm a huge optimist when it comes to the Bengals, but I don't see how we make the playoffs this year. IMO we would have to go 5-1 the next 6 games to have a chance. I don't see us making it at 8-8. Meaning we would have to beat a team like the Vikings or the Steelers, which is really unlikely.

Love the Vikes and Keenum is playing great right now and they have a great Defense under Zimmer but you never
know when something is going to happen. Bridgewater is pushing for that starting QB spot if Keenum falters any.
QB controversy could hurt them and we know Zim. I find this to be a possible win as are all the others besides the
Steelers with our HC being a fan of them and treating them different. We will be swept by the team we hate the
most. Maybe the biggest reason Marv needs to go after the season is over.

Racer... Not that the deal was on since we missed the playoffs, but pretty sure I would have been right lol. Would've made it that much easier for MB to justify re-signing Marvin.

I humbly bow in submission to your victory. The Bengal's level of stupidity was even greater than I thought.

I was wrong as well. I thought it would take AT LEAST clinching a wild card spot for him to get an extension win or lose...
Never underestimate the stupidity level of Mike Brown and company
