This article is so far off.

Dallas is pretty indisputable, man.

Eliott 2016: 322/1,631 (5.1)/15 rushing and 32/363 (11.3)/1 receiving
with a backup of..
McFadden 2015: 239/1,089 (4.6)/3 rushing and 40/328 (8.2)/0 receiving

Atlanta is good, but Freeman simply isn't Elliott good.

Running scared, perhaps; but he has to find that balance somewhere, or he will continue to be a mediocre back. It's a confidence thing, and really hard to fix. Perhaps Mixon will light a fire under him, and we'll see the best of both of them.

This is what I believe is closest to the truth. I don't think Hill is a bad running back at all,  but the fumble(s) and lackluster Oline play made him hesitant for whatever reason. Perhaps another really good back will give him renewed confidence to get out there and compete the way he's capable of doing.
I'd like nothing more than to see both of them lighting up the league and making defenses flat out scared to face them ripping off long, steady runs averaging 5-6 yards per..
