Why do their RBs not fall down whenever they get hit? Ours does

We are in real danger of a safety here with our OL...

Ball on the 1. Two runs for 4 yds and an incomplete pass. Time off clock maybe 90 secs. Denver gets ball our side of the50.

Even the giants RB doesn't fall after first contact. That's what so bad about Mixon. He can't break tackles at all.

They always leave the same holes in the zone too.

Easy pickings.

It seems the only way they can get the opposing team off the field on 3rd down is a bad pass or a drop.

You saying our O is going to take a giant shant?

Lol what's your idea of disappearing then? 0 catches? He's making QB money and can't get open against premier corners.

I love AJ Green too bro. It is what it is. Roby was draped on him on that pass. Good breakup though.

Should we just do it intentionally, so we can free kick instead of punting at the back of the end zone?

The offense is trash and plays a part in wearing the defense out, but when the defense can't get off the field on third down from the outset of the game you cannot keep blaming the offense. Another big third down given up the first drive after halftime.

To have a TOP so low both parties must be struggling. Our offense cannot sustain drives, but we have given up over 50% on third downs the past few weeks, which is on the defense.

I agree...this defense is not good.  I cant recall a defense being as poor as this one in gettting off the field on 3rd downs.  Even when it seems like they finally make a stop, the yellow flag comes out!

I give em some credit for not giving up 50 a game, but they routinely give up far too many sustained drives for my liking

Just so you know I had the best laugh I've had in awhile on your post about AJ.

Thanks

My point is he has been targeted 25% of the passes.  One was OB and one was batted down.  Not his fault, so how is that disappearing?

The Bengals are 32nd in Total Offense 13th in Total Defense.  Not playing favorites.  The reality is the Offense is dramatically worse than the defense.

It's actually hard to have a defense ranked 13th with such a pathetic offense.

Hold every play, it's only half the distance, so no big deal
