Bengals had interviewed Jeff Davidson (#Broncos) Harold Goodwin (#Cardinals), Joe Gilbert (#Colts) and Jim Harding (#Utah). Davidson was the favorite.

Out of all the options we were hoping for.... Dodged a bullet there.....

I like the idea of our bringing in a successful coach to work with the OL. Now will we get him the type of players he works best with?

Dang after an exhaustive search, talk about a quick hire What was that a phone interview? Way to snatch up somebody that did something very productive. Who knows how much he had to do with all the talent Dallas drafted but at least he didn't mess them up. Can't wait to see what he does with some of our young picks hopefully.

Seems like many changes happening on the Dallas staff.  Also seems like as soon as they become available, their coaches are getting hire off by other teams.

1 poor season and he's canned. Wasn't really his fault this year, Dak regressed. Zeke exploded and was suspended and Dak did worse with out Zeke.
And you guys know Jimmy, if he's not winning every year someone gets canned.

wow really stunned by this hire. Would think he would be at the top of other teams boards for oline coach. Hopefully bring in some good FAs. Actually getting pumped for next year even with Lewis being back.

Seemed like the reason he got fired from Dallas was a scapegoat type of move.

I like the hire because his Olines have been solid. I guess the question is, did he make the talent or did the talent make him? I suppose time will tell.
