Bengals trade up in rd #1 w/ T.B.
#1
saw this on a mock.....so it has to be true..... haha
Bengals trade up w/ T.B. to the #7 spot.....
we give them our #12
our 3rd rd pick # 77
& our 4th rd conditional draft pick which hasn't yet been determined....

w/ the 7th pick we select......
OG Nelson....

i hope this happens....
if not we'll probably draft James......which is ok....
but he's not pro bowl caliber like Nelson is imo....
Nelson would be our new ROCK.....to anchor the line....
play smash-mouth more often...move the chains....protect our QB.....eat up clock/control the ball....open holes for our RB's....

Entirely way to much to give up IMO. I could see us landing:

1) Derwin James, Roquan Smith, or Conner Williams

3rd) Isaiah Wynn, Jamarco Jones, or Mason Rudolph

4th) Frank Ragnow, Daniel Carlson-K I know!!!

this team can really build in the first 4 rounds this year and if we trade AJM it would help us rebuild in many areas.

Derwin James is a bad ass, don't disrespect him like that. He'd be an all pro/pro bowler within 2 years. But yes way too much to give up. Only giving that much up to draft Chubb.

No way Isaiah Wynn will be there in rd #3....
or Mason Rudolph

our O-line problems have destroyed us the past 2 years....
Nelson is the #1 best O-lineman in this draft.....yet some ppl don't like him....
strange....

Ive been thinking about a trade up with chicago. I dont want to give up early picks. But i want Nelson.

Chicago needs WRs. So maybe our 1st. Boyd. And a 6 and 7. They move back a few spots, get a starting WR with two years left on a rookie deal, and some late picks to help fortify that busted roster.

Better be a QB or OT if they trading up. I'd much rather see them trade down and focus on offensive line with extra picks.

I just don't see the Cincinnati Bengals making the trade to move up in the draft for a guard.

see us staying put this year, if we don't add any significant upgrades in FA. I would be happy with the first 4 rounds of:

1) Billy Price- Center

2) Justin Reid-Safety

2)(from AJM 2nd rd tender) Mason Rudolph-QB

3) Jamarco Jones-OT

3) Oren Burks-LB

4) Troy Fumagelli-TE

4) Simmie Cobbs Jr.-WR

Can see Bengals staying put but if the right player does not fall maybe trading back to get extra pick.

Like the tear they took Zeitler and Sanu.

Couple things. First off deshon Elliot over Justin Reid any day of the week and twice on Sundays. And secondly simmie Cobb's is the 3rd best receiver in this class and and a second rounder no matter how u slice it.

There is no way in hell the Bengals would trade up for anything but a once-in-a-decade talent at QB or maybe WR.

It isn't the pick I hate, but the idea of giving up so much for a guard, when we have a very capable set in Redmond, Westerman, and Boling.

Not shooting the messenger, but realistically there is no way this happens.
