I'm thinking it's time to blow the whole thing up and draft a new QB.
This organization is never going to bring in big-name coaches. It's never going to invest in the offensive line. It's going to keep letting productive players leave in free agency and then trying to replace them through the draft alone. That's just the kind of organization the Cincinnati Bengals are.
On an efficiently-run team, Dalton could probably go to a Super Bowl. But he is simply not talented enough and simply does not possess the character traits needed to overcome this organization's deficiencies. Frankly, the sort of team Mike Brown runs demands a fiery, passionate QB that can put the team on his back and make big plays down the field. Dalton's just not that guy.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Not a big Lamar Jackson fan, but still not bad.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Besides all that, this is the Bengals were talking about. Kaepernick did great, when SF designed their entire offense around his unique skill set. What makes you think that Mike Brown would buy into the idea of getting rid of everything this team has, and bringing in all the personnel required to design a RPO? Then, your backup must be equally capable of running the show. Driskel may have the natural ability, but seems to be made of glass.
Great point but who'll put butts in the seats and maximize your current investment in Andy?
Lamar Jackson! He would put Andy in a pressure cooker to be successful.

This is the perfect place for Lamar Jackson.
