They were once rumored to offer the Cowboys a 2nd for him. He's coming off an injury, but not as prone as Eifert. I think they'll peruse him as a pass catch threat especially since they'll bow out of Eifert bidding if one rogue team gives him descent guaranteed money. Easy comp pick stredegy to land say a 4th as well.

i did cross my mind when i heard he was cut. but it was a flash in the pan though tbh. The reality is he seems to get nagging injuries (like a lot of these Tight ends) and his attitude doesn't always seem to be the best. tbh i think would would be better off rolling with Kroft and a Draft pick.

I do often wonder about these TE's. to me its almost as if the TE is a position that's become so diverse and requires high athleticism + size that its almost pushing the human body to a point it cant handle. I guess guys being 6ft6 and 260lbs and being able to move like a 6ft WR is the breaking point.
