Hmm...Dalton's best passer rating on deep throws happens to be the year AJ missed the most games (2016).

Dalton has also shown surprisingly little drop off to his passer rating in games AJ has missed, and that's without a true #1 WR. I'm not saying AJ isn't important, but this narrative that AJ "makes" Dalton is complete utter BS. It's like saying Chad "made" Palmer.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
