My defensive prediction
#21
I don't think the Cincinnati Bengals will switch to a 3-4 defense for the following reasons:

They do not have a true nose tackle.

Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins are not signed to new contracts.

This means that they would have to draft several players to assure that the 3-4 defense continues and they would have to draft a nose tackle this year.

In addition the Bengals would have to have a stronger secondary. Dre Kirkpatrick is inconsistent and Dennard has been injured and inconsistent. So essentially they would have to draft another cornerback and a true free safety.

There's too much uncertainty along the offense line which I think needs to be addressed this year in this draft.

No.

Marvin has a history of using typical 3-4 OLBs at SAM in a 4-3.
