To all the moms out there, Happy Mother’s Day!

This is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. I miss her dearly and think about her everyday. If your mom is still alive, try to spend as much time with her as you can. Save voicemails and text so when she is no longer around, you can hear her voice and read her messages.

We are still going to my dads to do all the yard work, plant flowers, and spruce up the place like we would normally do on this day. My kids and their cousins will run around and play like it’s another family get together, but my siblings, dad, wife and I will have heavy hearts.

I miss you mom!
