Matthews was returning from an injury and apparently did not look that good. He missed all of Training camp then the Titans, who do not have a lot of great WRs, cut him after three games. He had 3 catches for 11 yards this season. He sat for over a month with no other teams howing any real interest until the Jets signed him today.

Yep, A.Erickson is the reason the D line can't get to the Q'back, or stop the run or stop 3rd and 25 and teams pick up 1st downs, or cover TE,s over center of field, or our big LBers stuffing a run or just plain doing their job and getting ball back to offense.

Ericksons fault our Oline gets manhandled, pushed out of the way, gives AD 1-2 seconds to find anybody open, Oline still has trouble pass blocking, can't run block worth a damn, everybody says "Run Mixon more" why? nowhere for him to run, but lets run him some more.

Ericksons fault the HC can't manage the game clock, or the DC can't get players on the same page before the snap, or our O'lineman holding a defender that blew past them with a single foreman swat and has AD in their scope for a sack. Yep Ericksons fault.

Alex Erickson is one of a few guys on this team that IS doing his job.
