It has become more and moreapparentblantantly obvious that Marvin Lewis is not the solution here. He brought the Bengals out of the dumpster and deserves a lot of credit for that. But while Marvin Lewis 1.0 brought us back to relevance, and Marvin Lewis 2.0 had us as a regular contender for a time, the first 7 games of Marvin Lewis 3.0 is shaping up to be the exact same thing. A team/roster with great potential that will never be realized and never kick down the door to being a top AFC squad.
So while there's a chance Brown wouldn't hire someone better, after 14 years I'll take a chance, however remote, on getting out of this Groundhog Day situation we find ourselves in with Lewis.
There is no other choice but to TAKE a chance. You can't trade or fire owners!
