RedsFest 2018

Looks like RedsFest is this weekend. I have not been in many years. Some people say the poker tournament is entertaining. I guess Bell has completed the hiring of his coaching staff and they all should be there. I would hope the atmosphere has a new tone of winning. At least we are not having a snowstorm this year. I hope everyone enjoys it.

I've wanted to attend for years, but have never been able to. The closest I ever got was way back when they had those camps in Dayton at Triangle park. I was about 7 years old and meet Chico Ruiz and I think Dave Conceptione back when he was still a rookie.  Chico told a story about catching a ball with his teeth and getting the out.  I don't know if it was true or not but it was a funny story for a bunch of kids. I still remember his strong accent telling the story and every kid there seemed to love the guy .
