Roark and Joe far from enough. Many free agents left. When you pull up Gio Gonzales it shows Reds might be interested. Gonzales had been good for Nationals as was Roark. Adding 2 Washington pitchers might help. Reds are kind of stuck with Homer, but maybe he could rebound and give some good innings. Reds need veteran pitchers. This hope for all these young guys coming on all at once isn't going to happen. If not Gio, then somebody else, but Reds in dire need of more veteran pitchers. They need a good blend of youth and veterans and Reds pitching hasn't had quality veterans.
Reds can't just be looking 3 or 4 years down the road. They have been in last way too long. It is time to get their butts out of last place. Yes, they need a long range plan as in 1980's that took the to 1990 team, but put up some more wins like 1985 on.
Reds have promised more player moves in pitching and in hitting. Talk is cheap, lets see them do it.
