Brown Was Benched Sunday

With Bell, you can at least see where he's coming from.  He wants to hit UFA and get the best deal he can get while he's still in his prime.  With Brown, it doesn't add up, because the Rooneys have practically fallen over themselves to back the Brinks truck up time and time again.

They really brought it on themselves, though.  They built their team around very talented players with character issues, and it's bit them.  Now, they're basically looking at a rebuild with an average coach and an aging QB.

Yes, you are agreeing with me. The Steelers way or Chuck Noll or any of the NFL teams in the 70's method don't work anymore the way Free Agency and the Players Union works these days. A diva in the 70's would be stuck with a team and fined. These days fines don't work. Heck Bell gave up 14 Million this year. No player in the 70's would give up a season, because we did not free agency or franchise tags.
