Morton has been here 16 years, Friday has been here for 9. It feels like the Bengals are consistently one of the most injured teams in the league. The game's evolving, guys are getting stronger and faster. We need a new philosophy and approach to strength and conditioning.
Everything in this post is my fault.

It is not true that we are consistently one of the most injured teams in the league. The previous 5 years we were below the league averages in injury time. Impact though depends on when the injury occurs and who is injured. This year was bad, no doubt about it, key players were hurt far too early in the season for the season. And the injuries hit deep into particular position groups. This happens to all teams sooner or later.
Winning makes believers of us all

To be fair, they seem to have a much higher tolerance for spending high draft picks and cap money on players who have a history of injury problems. Some GMs/coaching regimes are very quick to cut bait if they think that a player may be a chronic injury case. Also, some players on this team have bounced back from serious injury very well in recent history: Hall, Atkins, and Burfict all have come back from injuries that were career ending 10 years ago.
I agree with moving on from him because the Bengals seem to have a chronic problem with getting blown off the LOS, but fair is fair.

I’m less concerned with injuries, all teams have them, and more concerned why it looks like all our linemen, offense and defense, seem to be so easily manhandled by just about every other team in the league. The team needs to draft stronger players or get a better strength coach.
