I ran across a drawing by Winslow Homer titled the same, Snap the Whip on Google Arts and Culture.. I can vividly remember us playing the "game" as kids..
Anyway' Google Arts and Culture is a great place to check out the many different artists and movements throughout history if you're interested.. It also has its own Chrome extension..pretty cool..
