Schebler Says He Can Play CF

On Fox Ohio Reds Weekly Show : Schebler said he has played in Center for Reds in past and says he thinks he could do a good job as every day Center Fielder. He says it wouldn't be his first time in CF for Reds and he is very comfortable there. If Reds are thinking Kemp in Left and Puig in Right, it could very well be Schebler in CF to get all the bats in line-up. Some may say, what about Winker. The answer is injuries. It's a long 6 month season, 7 if you go play-offs, 8 if you count Spring Games, so a 4th OF will get his playing time and teams need a good 4th outfielder.

I agree 4 good outfielders are necessary on the roster for many reasons. I think Winker deserves one of the spots. Even if it is a platoon position.

With 2 lefties (Schebler, Winker) and 2 righties (Kemp, Puig) I see them platooning enough that the 4th outfielder gets a ton of playing time. Puig can play CF when Schebler sits out.
