Marvin Lewis has a new job
#1
Now it appears we have a much clearer picture on who is going to be on AAF broadcasts this season. From the Twitter account @FakeRudyMartzke, notable people such as Marvin Lewis, Terrell Davis, Maurice Jones-Drew, Andrew Siciliano and Steve Mariucci, among others, will be on AAF games in some capacity.

Another upstart league to compete with XFL, more likely meant to squash the XFL to eliminate possible competition..That's my guess anyway.. It might be seen as a developmental league beyond college. IDK.

AAF already has the players and television broadcasts in place while the XFL is lagging behind..

It's a developmental league that was announced prior to the XFL.

I believe Bill Polian was instrumental in putting it together and getting it up and running.  There are a ton of big NFL resumes involved with the project who all acknowledge that the new practice rules means the NFL needs a World League/NFL Europe setup more than ever to give players the ability to catch on.  There has been a ton of work put into making it a sustainable product to help as many players as possible have a chance to prolong their pro football careers.

They actually have one success story already, without even having played a game.  Josh Johnson was San Diego's first pick, and then a week later the Redskins signed him to back up Butt Fumble.  One week later he was starting for D.C.

Apparently, he got mixed reviews on Twitter.  One guy said he thought Marvin had a future, some called him boring.

Marvin said Baker Mayfield was the reason he's in the booth now, which is pretty funny and makes me like him a little more.  And, of course, it's basically true.   Here's the link:
