Color me dumb..but team should look into Justin Houston.

Lets imagine our sack numbers after the 2019 season
or project..
lets see....Dunlap will get his usual 7.5
Geno ...hmmm..10
Hubbard with more snaps 9 10
Billings 2
Lawson wow who knows...lets go with 9.
secondary combined 4.
lets say 40 45 from that alone.
Justin Houston had 9.5 in OFF year.
we need a pass rusher outside of Geno thats constantly
put up 10 sacks a year or more on average.
in this era of passing 40 times a game we need
proven pass rushers.plural.
Houston has a knack for creating fumbles too.
the franchise always goes the bargin bin route
in free agency with its defensive players.
where has that gotten the Bengals?
he can still play at a high level.
hes a finisher.
i know Im dreaming....but still.

All set with Houston he doesn’t fit in a 4-3 he’s an outside rusher in a 3-4. Much rather invest in a young free agent linebacker like Hicks, Mosley, Barr, Alexander etc.

I think that's a pipe dream. I would not expect much out of Lawson or Glasgow either one this year, since it seems it usually takes 2 seasons after a knee injury for D linemen to return to form.
