***Official 2019 NFL Draft Discussion Thread***
Taylor must have some red flags that only teams know about.

Listened to a podcast with McShay that said his interviews weren't great, so might be a result. Either that or there's something else underlying.

I like Dennis Daley from South Carolina.

Refused to test. Teams not willing to take a chance that he isn’t athletic enough in the first round?

We have a chance to grab the top two OT's let's make it happen. Glenn's not going to last, he's about as injury prone as Hart anyway. Trade up for Taylor.

There is about to be insane skill position talent on day 2. No CB, WR or HB taken yet. I want us to get another WR some point on day 2 and it looks like they will be a good one.

With the 42nd pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select.....Cody Ford G Alabama.

I'll have to check him out, not familiar with him.

I like our pick but I watched some video of the national championship game and Williams had some really bad plays in that game. He had quite a few plays where he looked off balance and Ferrell beat him. Was he hurt because they say that technique is usually his strength?

Taylor falling too...what if Ford or Taylor is there in rd 2? Do we pull the 2 OTs in the first 2 rds again?

Interesting draft

Still a lot of talent left:

OL _ Taylor, Ford and few others
CB - none taken yet as of #23
WR - none taken yet
DL
QB (Lock round 1 or 2) and Grier or Jackson from Buffalo round 3

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

My sleeper WR Antoine Wesley

And my sleeper TE is Parham.

How many sacks did he give up against top 10 DE from Clemson?

That wouldn't be a bad thing. We just got horribly unlucky last time.

What could possibly go wrong with taking OT in the first 2 rounds?

I’m thinking more like a N’keal Harry, Hakeem Butler type who could become a number 1.

So the message board can complain for the next 4+ months comparing it to the 2015 draft? No thanks.

He never worked out for anyone which means he knew he would bomb the analytics. Teams naturally moved him down.

You know what happens when you don’t get to see the workout? John Ross, Price, Ogbuewi, Fischer....

I’m surprised the Bengals didn’t take him. :)
