Brought in Zettel and Orchard
#21
Zettel at least has some good experience under his belt. Logged 6.5 sacks in 2017, with the Lions. Seems like he could be a Wally Gilberry type of player.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

It is on Bengal wire but I can't get the link to copy. Orchard looked good in the preseason. He was all over the field with a high motor.

I think Orchard is more of an Edge than a LB.

He is. He was labeled as pass rush specialist coming out of college, needed to really work on his run support to become a well-rounded edge.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

This is the type of season that you bring guys like that in for and see how they do for the future.

I could see Orchard potentially backing up Lawson, but I don't have confidence he'll ever become a 3-down DE.

Lawson is the kind of 1-dimensional pass rusher too.

Bengals signed Zettel. He seems more of a Wynn replacement than Orchard was.
