“We don’t have Andrew valued at that price,” Blackburn said. “He is an aging left tackle. Our offer stands. It will not increase. If he chooses to leave Cincinnati, all good things must come to an end, I guess.” Wow. That was it. Cincinnati didn’t “value Andrew” the way other teams seemed to. It was hurtful and felt personal. We sat in silence for a few minutes not believing what we had just read.
Had anyone ever told them in their job, after more than a decade of blind loyalty, leadership, and sacrifice they weren’t “valuable enough to keep?”
“Baby, daddy didn’t choose to leave Cincinnati. They decided to let him leave. He wasn’t as important to them as we thought he would be.
Yes - That's what I was referring to. ' It was hurtful and felt personal. We sat in silence for a few minutes not believing what we had just read.'
That's feeling burned.

they wanted to keep whit... And made him an offer.... Which was to reduce his role to transistion to Ob or Fisher... But he felt he had a few more years in him and was right...
Its not that the bengals didn't value him... Its they didn't want to invest multiple years into a guy close to the max end in age in the NFL. for his position
if we had given whit a 3 year deal and his play steeply declined or he miss lots of time injured.. You all whould be bashing the front office for not letting him go soon enough.....

We weren't discussing the Bengals thoughts, we were discussing how their thoughts made the player and his family feel.

Skins asking a lot for Williams. It bodes well that Glenn could be moved. Let us hope!

The benching of Dalton is the FOR SALE sign being belatedly switched on at Paul Brown stadium.
Like the McCarron non-trade it's probably too late though.

wow. Let us hope this means the Bengals will retain the first pick in 2020 draft. I still think the Bengals are going to make some trades before 4pm...

I read that Talib is on IR and the Rams are using the savings to try to extend Ramsey.

The Bengals front office isn't smart enough to trade Dalton. You know they're going to keep him as backup in case Finley plays like Baker Mayfield.

Apparently the Jets have put Jamal Adams on the trade block. I'd be happy to offer up Cordy Glenn and a 2nd for that guy.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

See with 2 hours to go until the trade deadline, I think it means Dalton is the scapegoat and they'll keep Green to help Finley.

I think Green is probably the only one not for sale but they seemed to be putting Eifert in the shop window Sunday, they're spreading the word about Glenn being available, it would be interesting to see what would happen if anyone came in with an offer for Mixon and with their Offensive-minded Head Coach wanting new toys I think they'd listen to offers on anyone on the D.
Now, I also think they will put too high a price tag on everyone and it'll be too late in the day to get anything done.

I think we will trade our 1st round pick to the Jets for Leveon Bell. This will greatly improve our running game and get us to the minimum cap for next season.
