Having Coaches function as the main scouts...is too much!

I've read a few people like 'We can't judge Taylor. He got a late start hiring coaches and evaluating the roster.'

Well...there is a reason that other teams have 2 to 3 times the player personnel department as the Bengals.

Coaches need to focus on scouting opposition, gameplanning, preparation and coaching.

That head start that other teams got...Guess what? It happens EVERY year because our coaches likely don't start scouting until the season ends. And other teams scouts are likely working year round.

This is an issue when you don't have a whole personnel department and you need your coaches to scout. Could be why the Bengals bombed free agency and haven't gotten anything from their rookie class. https://t.co/wqTfeglW1l
