I kinda view it as the son of a rich father. The dad did all the work, put in extra hours, learned new skills, created a new team, made the families wealth, and the son gets left the fruit of his father's labor. It's up to the son to coast along with his inheritance or continue the effort and knowledge his father had. We see what path he followed

I'm sure A LOT of people want to be the GM of a football team...but a lot of owners know they wouldn't be good at it so they hire other people. Generally GM's work their way up too.
Here...you inherit the team and you make yourself GM.
Kind of skirts the process in a huge way.
Just like if you look at Taylor's coaching career...he definitely got some chances that a normal person wouldn't because he married Mike Shermans daughter.
