Whats the chances we go after him? I agree the line turned it around towards end of the year but i think hes much better than Jim Turner. Plus the obvious ties to Zac and his son being the oc

Well he's a former head coach, and related to somebody already on staff (we know that goes a long way here). So I suppose he could do more than just be the O line coach. Hue Jackson was a WR, DB, RB, OC, and special assistant to the regional manager in his time in Cincinnati. I think they can find a spot for him.

I think there's a good chance he'll come. That'll be the first piece of the puzzle in the perfect Offseason scenario. Then we got to find a spot for Joe Brady, and off we go to the Superbowl~

Callahan was Zac's first choice for OK coach. Brian and Bill Callahan have both said they want to coach on the same staff together. Finally Callahan was Zac's coach in college.

However, while I'm not a fan of Turner, Zac likes him. Plus, he's been credited with fixing the run game. I don't know if Zac would be on board with replacing him.

Mixon has credited Turner for getting the run game going, too. We know he was super pissed about Pollack not being brought back, letting Turner go probably wouldn’t be the best move if we want to re-sign Joe.

We can find another position for Callahan in the staff.

Bring him in and just give him some title like special assistant to the head coach. Having him here would be a good addition.

I would be all for this, the same way Marv brought Hue back after he was fired by the Browns.

The only reason people are not fans of Turner was because of the Miami bullying situation.  What he did with the line in the back half of the year was really impressive and noticeable.  I'm all for giving him additional time now that he's had a chance to assess and build on what he has.

Bring on Callahan as an assistant OC or run game coordinator or assistant Oline coach or SOMETHING.

WhoDey2  Nothing personal, just asking: Why would Joe Brady want to leave LSU to come here??

My issue with adding him is that you have now tied two staff members together via nepotism meaning any change you make now is a two for one change if you have to move on. If you want to make him a consultant with no real official responsibility other than giving input I wouldn't care too much I guess, but just know if things go bad it usually gets worse when you have family working together.

To the people saying Joe Brady, it looks like LSU is giving him a massive new contract to stay so I don't foresee him moving this year.

I don't know. He came from the league so you'd think he want's to get back in depending on why NO let him go.

Also heard he was Winks first choice as OC so he may be willing to return. Why not follow Burrow and help create the dynasty.

WhoDey2  Those are as good as any. I didn't know he was with the Saints. He just might want to follow Burrow if ZT would let him be in charge of the passing game...
