Not really when you consider all of the comp picks that will come before it.

That’s harsh. Tobin has had some really good drafts here.

The other team knew Dalton would do the QB sneak, and Taylor knew the other team knew the QB sneak was coming. He tried to outsmart them instead of sneaking it. It was the wrong thing to do, he should have just let Dalton do it.  Hopefully he learned from it.

I don't like that trying to get too cute play calling. That was bad by Zac.

Stayed straight-faced for a second and then cracked a smile and a chuckle!

Just glad that we have a coach with a bit of personality and that's open to interaction with fans!

It's the same way that he seems like a player's coach and will have (or already has) them buy into his scheme and have faith for the season and future!

I'm excited!

After finishing 2-14 I question why is he at happy hour instead of studying college player film and talking to them on the phone? Or maybe studying film of upcoming free agents? Lots of talk from this guy, no production.

I have a friend of a friend of a friend
of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who knows everything there ever was to know. He forgot it all though.. So did I.. Nothing like a drunken friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a drunk to get the inside scoop. Nervous

I'm more interested in who he was at happy hour with... His wife? Pacman? Joe Burrow's dad? His mistress? Lou? An escort?... Solo?

We need more details Brad.

Sure, but did your friend see if Zac was eating a tuna on rye sandwich or not?

The Bengals have only drafted 1 Pro Bowler since they took Andy Dalton 35th overall in 2011.
The Bengals have drafted 0 Pro Bowlers since they took Tyler Eifert 21st overall in 2013.

In 2013, Zack Ertz and Travis Kelce were still both available when they drafted Tyler Eifert.

I like him, but I don’t wouldn’t draft him.

We already have Fat Randy, who is better than that.

I agree with that, it was a crap call. I just think it's pretty obvious what he was doing. Like I said, so far Zac seems to be able to learn from his mistakes and does not seem too stubborn to learn from them.

Great. Doesn’t refute a thing I said. I never claimed he’s been killing it lately. But to deny he helped put some really good teams together over the years is disingenuous.

Yes, this is why I have hope with Zac, he can learn.

He even preaches about adapting and adjusting, something Marv would never do.

When Marvin went to 6 O-linemen in 2009 he won a division title and NFL Coach of the Year.

What has Zac done to match that?

And do Reggie Kelly and Tyler Eifert really seem like the same TE to you?

At least go to some culinary classes and learn how to make a Cincy Tuna on Rye for crap's sake.

He's knows Burrow isn't gonna choke down some Skyline so he might as well learn how to make the other Cincinnati favorite.

Amateur hour by Taylor I tells ya.

This is like you saying Mixon cannot stay healthy, give it a rest.

Taylor sucks so far we all know it but Marv was 0-7 in the Playoffs which is a suckfest in itself.

Marv said making adjustments in the game was journalistic jargon.

Maybe the most laughable comment I have ever heard from a HC.

What has Reggie Kelly and Tyler Eifert have anything to do with anything I said?

He went to 6 o-linemen because alls we did was run the ball, which made us too predictable.  We won the division that year because of mainly running the ball so much didn't put points on the board but then Carson won it with 4th quarter comebacks.

It won us the division, but we only had, what, one convincing win and then lost in the playoffs?

Even if we did go run-heavy that year, if Marvin would have known how to game plan appropriately and make in-game adjustments, we could have had a special year.

True. This was the Cardiac Cat year correct?

I did like the Jumbo package and the Boogie Man knocking out Polamalu. That was fun but need to be able to adjust and be
unpredictable. Hope Zac learns and does this, it is not out of the question. I am sick of talking about Marv anyways, time to
move on. With a good FA and Burrow this is a totally new team and Zac will finally start really building his own.

Exciting times, we are in a good position.

Well, when we get to Zac's 7th year at the helm, we can look back on this and make a comparison.
