Dalton for Ngakoue Pipe Dream?

I think this situation is going to boil down to who needs a reliable vet QB post draft and doesn't want to compete with another interested party after he gets wacked. Pats/Jags/LA Chargers ??
should we create a Poll?

Jacksonville with a surprise cut of Marquise Lee. That brings their cap space up to $18.1M. For those that forget, Andy Dalton's salary is $17.7M.

Wow, that's a new one! I don't even know what to think about that? IDT Jannick is helping his situation out with the other teams around the league though. Although, winning teams like NE usually feel confident they can tame a player down just by adding them onto a winning team.

I wouldn't want the Bengals to trade for a player like this b/c of the big contract he'd be seeking.
We already have a lot tied up on the defensive line.
Hopefully, Carl Lawson, Andrew Brown, or a draft pick can pick up the sacks slack around there.

I think the big problem here is: We have to move Dalton eventually because of the cap, but Ngakoue wants a new deal which is why he wants out of Jacksonville. Ngakoue is making 17.7 this year under the tag. We'd have to make some serious financial moves to be able to afford that, so I don't know that it would happen.
