Turnovers galore: Bengals @ Steelers 2005

Incredible game for the Bengals. The hit on Ben by Thurman was rough to see. I can somewhat see why the Steelers thought it was necessary to deliver a cheapshot on Palmer. Anyway back to the game. Man our roster was stacked. Bengals forced like 5 turnovers and very easily could've had about 5 more. Hell even a David Pollack sighting. If we didn't lose Palmer I truly think we were destined for the Super Bowl.

2005 was a great year though not as balanced as 2015 which to me is the best team since super bowl team. Even a healthy Palmer the game with Steelers was a coin flip. We had already lost at home to them and in those 3 games they averaged 30 points.

Looked to me like 65 kind of pushed Thurman low as he went by....

Thurman was a beast, too bad he had so many issues.

Gonna bump this so I can see it when I get back from camping for a couple days.

Thanks, love watching us beat on the Stealers.

Bengals had a fantastic offense but that defense was nowhere near SB caliber.  That was the year of the insane number of turnovers they were able to generate which is great.  But the defense was bad overall.  Without turnovers, they were easily pushed around
