Today Santa Clara County enacted new restrictions on contact sports and installed a 14 day quarantine for anyone traveling more than 150 miles into the county. It goes into effect Monday morning, but the 49ers have should be back prior. However, they will not be able to return from road games without a 2 week quarantine, nor can a road team show up less than 14 days before the game.
The team needs to reach out to Oakland ASAP to see if they can practice and play there, and the players and staff will need to get into hotels outside the County to be able to participate.
