Yeah, and I think you're seeing that this offense was pretty good in the passing game with a non-productive number 1.  

There's just no way I would sign a guy to that kind of money when there are so many other places to spend that money.

What really gets me is what could have been had with that $18 mill that was given to AJ Green?

Daryl Williams was signed by BUF on a 1-year, $2.25 mill deal with a $250k signing bonus, only resulting in $2.5 mill cap hit.
Williams would have (in theory) been an upgrade over Hart.

The Bengals could have brought in Williams, kept Miller, and added (at least) one other piece for the money paid to AJ Green.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: 3-5 so far. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
