Fred Johnson and Auden Tate last offseason. Apparently Adeniji (and likely a 7th round WR in the draft) this offseason.
To a point, I just have liked almost everything I have seen from Adeniji and think he was a steal as late as we got him.
To act like a mid to late round OL cannot become a good starter is laughable though. We have seen first round picks bust
over and over. Nothing is a sure thing and I have seen good play in the NFL out of Adeniji unlike the top O-lineman in the
Draft. We will see how good Sewell is in the NFL, we have no idea, we will see how Adeniji improves and if he becomes a
starter, I am not betting against him. He is smart, has great feet, has long arms and plays with technique.
All the qualities you want in a good Offensive Lineman. It isn't settling if he becomes great.
What if we do all the things you want and overhaul the O-line with the last of the proven OL in FA and go all OL through
the first 5 rounds and we still suck?
